About Niccolum Sulphuricum Homeopathy Dilution

Also known as Sulphate of Nickel, Nicotiana Tabacum

This remedy is useful in menopausal disturbances. It is often indicated in complaints of malaria especially nerve disturbances. It is given for asthenic persons with weak digestion and constipation. This remedy is also indicated in periodic headaches. There is profuse salivation and urination.

Head: It is given for nervous, tired and weak persons who cannot do any work. There are periodic headaches especially occipital region extending down to the spine which is more on lying on the back.

Back: There is stiffness and numbness in the neck region. The spine is sore and cannot lie on back. The soles are burning when waking in the morning.

Female: There is aching in the ovarian region with sensation as if menses would appear. It is given for hot flushes in the body and profuse perspiration during menopause.

Dosage: Please note that the dosage of single homoeopathic medicines varies from drug to drug depending upon the condition, age, sensitivity and other things. In some cases they are given as regular doses as 3-5 drops 2-3 times a day whereas in other cases they are given only once in a week, month or even in a longer period. We strongly recommend that the medication should be taken as per the physician's advice.

Niccolum Sulphuricum as per Boericke Materia Medica

Useful in climacteric disturbances. Periodic neuralgias of malarial origin. Urine and saliva increased. Coppery taste. Weak, asthenopic literally persons with weak digestion and constipation, are worse in morning and suffer from periodic headaches and hoarseness.

Head - Nervous, uneasy, desire to recline, tired, cannot settle down to any occupation. Periodic headaches, occipital pain, extending down to spine, worse lying on back; sore pain in eyes.

Back - Stiff, numb sensation, worse in neck. Spine sore. Awakened in morning with burning soles, Spinal pains, legs and arms heavy and weak, cannot lie on back.

Female - Dull aching in ovaries, with sensation as if menses appear. Hot flashes, followed by perspiration on parts touching each other, when separated become dry.

Dose - Second trituration.
