About Natrum Hypochlorosum Dilution

Also known as Labarraque's Solution(Natrum Chloratum)

It is indicated in the congestive and atonic states of the uterus and its ligaments with liver troubles. It is also given in cases of chronic inflammatory affection of middle ear.

Natrum Hypochlorosum Patient Profile

Head: Pain in the forehead with vertigo. There is sensation as if top of head would float off. It is indicated in nosebleed in clots.

Mouth: There are irritable spots along sides of tongue, throat and gums. Tongue is swollen. Ulcers are formed in the tongue. The tongue is furred, large, flabby and intended.

Stomach: Drowsy after meals.

Urine: Urine is dark with protein and casts.

Female: There is feeling of uterus were pushed up while sitting down. Menses is irregular. The uterus is heavy, sodden with tendency to prolapse.

Extremities: Hands are swollen every morning. There is extreme weakness of ankle and knees.

Dosage: Please note that the dosage of single homoeopathic medicines varies from drug to drug depending upon the condition, age, sensitivity and other things. In some cases they are given as regular doses as 3-5 drops 2-3 times a day whereas in other cases they are given only once in a week, month or even in a longer period. We strongly recommend that the medication should be taken as per the physician's advice.

Natrum Hypochlorosum as per Boericke Materia Medica

In congested and atonic states of the uterus and its ligaments, with hepatic disorders. Chronic catarrhal diseases of the middle ear. Flabby, debilitated constitution. Both hands swollen in morning. Phlegmatic. Depressed, faint.

Head -Vertigo, with aching across forehead. Swimming feeling, as if top of head would float off. Bleeding of nose in clots.

Mouth -Sore irritable spots along sides of tongue and throat, gums sore, tongue swollen; aphthous ulceration. Putrid taste. Furred tongue, large, flabby, intended. Cough with aphonia.

Stomach -Drowsy after meals.

Urine -Dark, with albumen and casts. Diffuse nephritis. Much pain across small of back.

Female -Feeling as if uterus were pushed up on sitting down (Ferr iod). Feels as if it opened and shut. Violent metrorrhagia. Leucorrhśa and backache. Passive, bearing-down from heavy condition of uterus. Womb is heavy, sodden, with tendency to prolapse. Subinvolution.

Extremities -Hands swollen every morning. Extreme weakness in ankles and knees.

Relationship -Compare: Aur mur nat; Calc; Sepia; Heliotropium (uterine displacement, with active bearing-down sensation and loss of voice; membranous dysmenorrhśa).

Antidote: Pulsat; Guaiacum.

Dose -Fifteen to twenty drops of Labarraque's solution in water. Third attenuation made with dilute alcohol, lower with water.
