About Chenopodium Glaucum

A tincture is made of the aphids grown on the Chenopodium glaucum.

Chenopodium Glaucum Dilution is a homeopathic remedy which helps in relieving pain in shoulder blade. It also provides effective relief from toothache.

This remedy is indicated for affections of auditory nerve with dizziness and ringing in the ears. It is useful in cases of sodden loss of consciousness, partial paralysis and loss of speech and also in worm infestations.

Ears: Impairment of hearing from affections of auditory nerve. High pitched sounds are heard better than the sound of voices. Dizziness from ear complaints and enlargement of tonsils, with buzzing in the ears.

Back: Severe pain in between the shoulders especially at the angle of right scapula near the spine which extends through the chest.

Urine: Profuse, increased urination. Yellow, foam like sediment in the urine with burning in the urethra.

Dosage: Please note that the dosage of single homoeopathic medicines varies from drug to drug depending upon the condition, age, sensitivity and other things. In some cases they are given as regular doses as 3-5 drops 2-3 times a day whereas in other cases they are given only once in a week, month or even in a longer period. • It is indicated in complaints of body pain specially under the left shoulder blade.

Patient profile

Head : 

For headache with shooting pains, sensation of cerebral motion.

Eyes, Ear and Nose : 

Burning heat in the eyelids is relieved with Chenopodium Glaucum.

Itching and tearing pains in the ear.

Violent sneezing, sometimes attended by a pain, as of excoriation, in the larynx is relieved with Chenopodium glaucum

Fluent coryza, with secretion of serous mucus, coryza with burning and biting on margins of nostril.

Mouth :

Tearing, shooting pains in the teeth, extending from the right side to the ear, the temple, and the cheek-bone.

Dryness of the mouth and of the throat, with profuse salivation, throat, scraping and burning.

Stomach and abdomen :

Cutting and pinching pains, rumbling of flatus in the abdomen, with frequent emission of wind is an indication for this remedy.

Liquid, mucus-like stools in the morning, with spots of blood, pinching in the abdomen.

Urinary complaints :

Frequent and copious secretion of a frothy urine, deep yellow, sometimes with an acrid sensation in the urethra

Respiratory :

Frequent irritation in the larynx, which compels coughing.

Generalities :

Pulling and tearing above the knee in the morning, Burning lancinations in corns.

Side effects Chenopodium Glaucum

Dosage and rules :

• Take 5 drops in half cup of water three times a day.
