Also known as Apium Virus.

Apisinum dilution is a very useful medication to deal with puffiness and swelling of membranes and skin. It helps in the treatment of swollen eyelids and intense pain around the eyes. It also helps in curing abdominal soreness and thirst. The urethra's burning sensation and soreness are also relieved by it. It also helps against involuntary and suppressed urination. The remedy also helps with fever, eyes, and head.

Swelling and puffiness of skin and membranes. Cannot tolerate heat or the slightest touch. Afternoon aggravation. General soreness. Constricted sensations. The sensation of stiffness and as of something torn in the body. Much weakness.

Mind: Apathy and indifference. Awkward and drops things. Jealous and hard to please. Unable to concentrate.

Head: Tired feeling in the head. Vertigo aggravated when lying down. Throbbing and distension. Sudden pains. Pains of a stabbing nature. The back of the head feels heavy accompanied by sexual excitement.

Eyes: Lids swollen, red, and puffy. Eyes bright red with hot tears. Sharp pains around the eyes.

Stomach: Abdomen feels sore. Thirst absent. Great desire for milk.

Urine: The Urethra burns and feels sore when urinating. Suppressed and involuntary urination. Burning at the end of urination.

Female: Edema of labia; better by cold water. Soreness and stinging pains. Menses are suppressed, with head symptoms, especially in young girls. Severe pain in the abdomen, especially the right side, during menses. Profuse menses with stinging pains.

Fever: Chilly in the afternoon. Fever with thirst. Heat stage with a smothering feeling. Sweat with sleepiness. The sweat stage breaks out and dries up often. Sleepy after the fever paroxysm.

Modalities: Worse by heat in any form; touch; pressure; late in the afternoon; after sleeping; in closed and heated rooms. Right side. Better, in open air, uncovering, and cold bathing.
